The Daring Way™ and RISING STRONG™
The Daring Way™ is about developing authenticity, self-compassion and shame resilience in order to live a wholehearted life. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, The Daring Way™ is delivered by certified facilitators using group discussion, video and written exercises designed to help participants Show Up. Be Seen. Live Brave™
Donalda Jones is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF). She will guide you through this experience in a kind, trusting and comfortable setting. She will show you how joy, laughter, song and dance are part of living a wholehearted life.
In her books, Brené Brown reminds us that we cannot shape what we do not understand and what we don’t understand shapes us. By learning shame triggers and developing shame resilience, participants will cultivate a courage practice that will transform the way they live, love, parent and lead.
Donalda combines her Daring Way™, Gifts of Imperfection™ and Rising Strong™ work with her other training to create awareness and huge ‘aha’ moments in the life of participants. “The process is magic” says Donalda. “Watching people connect to the moments in their lives that might be holding them back and then having the courage to move forward is highly rewarding for everyone.”
Dr. Christiane Northrup, in her book Goddesses Never Age states:
“Life is too short to live in shame and limitation, leading a vitality-sapping existence of anxiety and depression…to move beyond shame, we have to learn to consciously feel our shame fully and eventually learn to laugh at it – and at ourselves.”
Here is what people who have been through Donalda’s workshops are saying about their experience.
“You will be enthralled with what you will discover about yourself. Every session builds a reliable trust in each other, and the knowledge, confidence and strength in your own self-worth. Enrolling in Donalda’s Daring Way™ workshop would be the best gift you could ever give yourself.”
Lois

Donalda with her unique style of grace and humor, guides participants in a practical way, through the teachings and insights of Brené Brown…The course allows students to learn in a safe and empathetic space as they explore their own relationship with shame an vulnerably. The class is engaging and fun, while at the same time, dealing with subject matter that may trigger strong emotions. An incredible experience.”

Workshops:
In the Daring Way™ we will explore vulnerability, courage, shame and worthiness in a small, supportive group setting. We will Examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that are holding you back and identify new choices and practices that will help you toward a more authentic and wholehearted life.
In the Rising Strong workshop we will learn how to reckon with our emotions; rumble with our stories; create a revolution in our lives! How to pick yourself up and move forward after a fall or what feels like a failed attempt at something we cared deeply about. These falls and failures teach us the most about who we are. It is truly “Rising Strong”.
Prefer to explore one-on-one? Donalda offers individual sessions in person, by telephone, Skype or FaceTime in order to guide you through the curriculum. At this time I am unable to offer individual sessions but if you would like to add your name to our waiting list, please email me at donj@accesscomm.ca.
